For the past couple months we have been working on releasing our first international city flag, Mexico City. We were set to drop tomorrow, but with the unfolding of yesterday’s events, we want to move forward with the release and send 100% of the proceeds to help those in need in Mexico City. We had close friends there just last Monday and watched their travels unfold and cannot believe this is the same place. The devastation is unbearable. We have researched organizations and found that @directrelief gives 100% of donations to the relief effort, with the money being spent on medical supplies. With so many injured and still being pulled from the rubble, and with hospitals being set up in the streets, this is a very visible need. This is not about flags. This is about helping our neighbors in need with the resources we have in our hands. Link in profile to order.

#Repost @ap.images ・・・ An altar to the Virgin of Guadalupe is covered with fallen debris inside the earth-damaged home where Larissa Garcia, 24, lived with her family in Juchitan, Oaxaca state, Mexico, Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017. The family was caught under rubble when the house partially collapsed, leaving Garcia with a broken arm and her father with a head injury. Her mother, who had to be pulled out from underneath a foot-thick section of wall which collapsed on her back, remains in a wheelchair and unable to walk. #APPhoto @rblackwelll The death toll from Mexico’s 8.1 magnitude earthquake rose to 96 on Monday as more victims were confirmed in the hard-hit southern states of Oaxaca and Chiapas and residents worked to repair shattered homes and small businesses. #Mexico #earthquake #VirginofGuadalupe #Juchitan #Oaxaca #TheAssociatedPress #photojournalism #RebeccaBlackwell
